Rodgers received total compensation of more than $10.3 million in 2020 and roughly the same amount in 2021, according to proxy filings by Intel. Sunil Shenoy is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Design Engineering Group at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for the design, development, validation and manufacturing of intellectual property and SoCs for customer and data center applications. Shenoy returned to Intel in February 2021 after three years as senior vice president and general manager of RISC-V at SiFive, a company working on commercializing the RISC-V open architecture, where he helped build the engineering team. Prior to 2014, Shenoy had a 33-year career at Intel. During this time, he was vice president and head of Intel`s Platform Engineering Group, responsible for microprocessor and SoC design across Intel`s product groups. Among other things, he also led Intel`s Visual and Parallel Computing group, as well as server and PC silicon engineering and research and development. He holds 16 patents in computer technology and microprocessor. Rodgers did not immediately respond to a request for comment on his post-Intel plans. He joined the firm in 2000 as Senior Litigation Counsel after working as a partner and partner at Brown & Bain, an intellectual property law firm that was eventually acquired by Perkins Coie.
Boise comes from the manufacturer of industrial power components Eaton Corp., where she was the lead lawyer. She will succeed Steven Rodgers, Intel`s longtime general counsel, who retired on May 31 after more than 22 years as head of the company`s legal department based in Santa Clara, California. Giordano, his interim successor as Intel`s chief legal officer, has been with the company for more than a decade. In 2017, Giordano played a key role in Intel`s acquisition of Mobileye NV, an Israeli computer vision company whose technology is used in autonomous vehicles, for $15 billion. Sandra L. Rivera is Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Datacenter and AI Group at Intel Corporation. She leads Intel`s development of cutting-edge data center products for a cloud-based world, including Intel® Xeon® and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) products. It also guides the company`s overall artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and product roadmap. Prior to joining Intel, Rivera was co-founder and chairman of the CTI Authority and president of the computer telephony division at Catalyst Telecom. She serves on Equinix`s Board of Directors.
Miller Boise also commented on how corporate legal departments facing budget cuts should lead their legal service providers to adapt to changing times. Previously, she was Vice President and General Manager of Intel Capital, a role in which she provided legal support to the President of Intel Capital, Intel`s global investment organization that invests in equities and manages acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. She joined Intel Capital in 2011 as M&A Counsel. April Miller Boise is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Intel Corporation. She leads Intel`s global legal, business, and government affairs team and serves as a strategic advisor to Intel`s executive team and Board of Directors. Prior to joining Intel in July 2022, Miller was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Eaton Corp. Prior to joining Eaton in 2020, she was Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Meritor Inc. Earlier in his career, Miller practiced on Wall Street and went on to lead the largest office of an AmLaw 200 law firm as managing partner and was a member of the firm`s executive committee. Shlomit Weiss is Senior Vice President and Co-General Manager of the Design Engineering Group at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for the enterprise design, development, validation and manufacturing support of intellectual property (IP) and system-on-chip (SoC).
Prior to joining Intel, Giordano spent three years as President and CEO of Deal Fusion, an M&A legal advisory firm, and five years at Sun Microsystems, including as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and Strategic Investments. Earlier in her career, she was an attorney at the law firms of Gunderson Dettmer and Brobeck Phleger & Harrison. Giordano leads Intel`s corporate legal group with a focus on corporate governance, board and shareholder relations, corporate financing and reporting, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate and strategic transactions involving Intel and Intel Capital. Nick McKeown is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Network and Edge Group (NEX) at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for technology and product leadership across the network to the intelligent edge. Prior to serving as Group Head of Network and Edge, Nick was a part-time Intel Senior Fellow after joining Intel in 2019 with the acquisition of Barefoot Networks, which he co-founded in 2013. “Intel has been at the forefront of innovation, technology, and global commerce for decades, cultivating a world-class organization for legal, business, and government affairs,” Boise said in a statement. Giordano will lead legal, commercial and government affairs for the Santa Clara, California-based technology company until a permanent general counsel is appointed, Intel spokeswoman Nancy Sanchez said. Pat Gelsinger, Intel`s CEO, said April Miller Boise`s extensive skills and experience make her ideal for helping the company navigate “an increasingly complex legal and policy environment.” Intel Corp. has hired April Miller Boise as its new general counsel, effective July 6.
