Essentially, lawyers and paralegals from across Ontario can add their names to the LRTS roster of lawyers and paralegals for an annual fee of approximately $300. When members of the public call the service, RSSA matches the caller with a lawyer or paralegal in their geographic area who works in the required area of law. Licensees can now apply for LTRS through their Law Society Gateway account. The terms and conditions are listed on the portal. The service is promoted to the public through a variety of means, including legal clinics, community organizations and on the Law Society`s website.
